Churchill never said Ukraine was worth fighting Russia over. McCain did, though.

You McCainiacs forget that Churchill was PM in the early 1950s and one of his prime priorities was a detente with Russia. And he NEVER said Ukraine was worth a war.

I may disagree with DO on the Russia vs Ukraine deal, but he has you cold NC.

I joined FR just a few weeks after he joined, and I can attest he despises McCain.

So much so that some got upset when he said he would not vote in the 2008 election.

Why is it so many seem to get into personal attacks over outside arguments.

It reminds me of the ID televisions series, “Fear Thy Neighbor”. People get into tiffs around hear that seem to last forever. Usually because stupid accusations against each other that have no basis in truth.

We were allies with Russia and the USSR twice, once in WWI
and once in WWII. Both times we did it to fight a common
enemy. That was all we shared.

We had friendly relations with Tsarist Russia. They supported us during the revolution and supported the Union during the Civil War.

By the way, there are not many of us old timers left. We need to support each other in a friendly way even if we disagree from time to time. After all, we are all human, and most humans disagree with each other almost 50% of the time.

Anyone who can last here 25 years like myself and you, deserve the respect we get for at least coming back to jump in the Frey time and time again.

Besides around here, anyone who has been here over 20 years, let alone 25, has disagreed with every other Freeper over something at least once. And the toes we smashed have hurt at times.

It was a data dump I created so folks could see the guy for
who he was. I’d dump it on the forum from time to time.

The folks who already didn’t like the guy bought in. Those
who seemed to like him weren’t willing to read it and avoid
the guy. You can only do what you can do.

I do have a site that I drop photos in from. I don’t have
