Liz Truss in trouble and could be gone "within weeks"

She has just fired her chancellor. My source tell me that she herself could face the boot.

The plan by MPs is to have the former chancellor (and Goldman Sachs alumni) Rishi Sunak to stand unopposed for the leadership once she is removed.

This will mean there wouldn't be a contest and he would effectively be installed as PM.

Sunak was the overwhelming choice of the MPs while Truss was the choice of the party members.

My source says this could happen within weeks...

They would have to change the rules to do this and I'm told this isn't a problem as the situation is dire.

This was predicted from the moment that she took office.

Agreed.

Rishi was always the globalist pick and the party members made the “wrong” choice.

I think this might happen looking at the link RummyChick posted

They’re certainly discussing it anyway.

That’s not a good sign when your side trashes you publicly.

I remember some political figure in the past expressed his wish to be born as the bond market. After years of dormancy the bond market has come back with a vengeance.

She’s out to beat George Cannings record of 118 days, the shortest tenure of a British PM. But he had a great excuse. He died.

For Britain’s sake, I hope not.
It will get to where no one would want the job, except for the worst people with nothing to lose.
