I’d love to see Schiff go down, but I suspect all the California Democrats are pretty safe.

How is it that all nine aren’t up. Is it three are retiring ?
To: George from New England
One got redistricted OUT.
One got primarily defeated [Big Time].
One is apparently retiring

Cheney was humiliated in her primary.
Kinzinger chickened out, as did Dem Stephanie Murphy of Florida, who was also Dems’ Chief Deputy Whip.

Stephanie Murphy, born in Vietnam and raised in the DC area, is in her mid 40s, a little young for ‘retirement’.

Every member of the committee is up for election. Every two years.
To: Vermont Lt
Cheney has already been unreelected.

She’s not running for reelection. Five years in Congress (she’ll have six) and she qualifies for a pension (though she won’t receive it until she’s in her 60s), so “retiring.”

Yes, or running for another office. I’m not sure which or what, but every house seat comes before the voters every 2 years.

One of the six, Elaine Luria, D-Va., has a good chance of being defeated by Republican challenger Jen Kiggans.

The media have obviously been told to use the words “riot” or “assault on the capital” rather than the word insurrection which is very specific.

A wannabe girl beats "Schiff for Brains."
If this really happened it would really make the news.
This would be head line information in the newspapers.
