people don’t realize how many people walk into branches. trimming to 7 ft from the ground should be a law.

It probably is a law. But, most city councils are fixated on garbage like plastic bags and climate change.

Now, if the guy is an actual arborist, he knows what he is doing; maybe there ought to be a way to request service on an individual tree.

I tend to agree. Not just a hazard to walkers.

We have a nearby school with flashing lights to indicate when the school speed zone is active. Because of overgrown trees and low hanging branches, you can’t see the lights until you’re in the restricted zone. Locals are aware of it. People just passing through are caught off guard. Complaints to the school and city are ignored.

One could write a book on stop signs hidden by overgrown brush and intersections where on coming traffic is obscured for the same reason.
