My general rule of thumb is: if it’s the kind of song they’d put on “the voice”, “american idol”, “the masked singer”, etc., it is almost certainly trash.

About 10 years ago I got a guy to start singing that every time he put something in the microwave in our office....which was at least 2 or 3 times a day...drove my other coworkers crazy for weeks.

The most despicable song ever recorded is the Pina Colada song. The husband writes a personal ad looking to cheat and his wife answers it. I hate this song.
