Are any Freeprs here Election Day Judges? I was considering becoming an election judge here in the People's Republic Of Maryland and thought I would reach out to other judge.

But, I have a full day of work Tuesdays, and already have bugged out on Tuesday students, so I’m not going to. I’ll be lucky to vote that day.

I should’ve thought of that when signing up for work hours this semester, and left Tuesday open.

I have been an election official in various capacities since Reagan’s first win.

Being a Poll Watcher is generally useless. Unless you are an official, certified poll worker you don’t get close to ‘the machine.’

Depending on the state, if you want to have eyes on records, and how they are handled, work the shifts in the second half of the day, and be sure to be working when the polls close and all records are tabulated.

You CAN monitor what happened in you poll location.

Here in GA, the shenanigans happened when (a) ballots were put in drop boxes and (b) three counties ‘did things’ at the county official level, primarily will mail in, absentee and drop off ballots. The polling locations for in-person here in GA make it hard to cheat actually.

I was in Commierado from 2014 until the lockdown . I am not jabbed and was not going to wear a mask for 8 hours. We have 2 week early voting so I worked more than just election day. The temp company thru which we were hired did not allow ccw. Since all the polling places I worked were not schools or had metal detectors I carried all the time.
