You need to go to better beaches. Ones where you'll find nothing but temptation...
Where’s the sand?
I think I saw that actual display at the county sheriff’s display at our local Fourth-of-July parade.
Funny how those things stay with you.
Being raised in rural Mississippi, there wasn’t much mining going on, so the likelihood of finding a blasting cap was pretty miniscule.......................😢😉
About once per year I look up the newsreel video of the whale blubber rain and laugh my butt off. I made sure each one of my kids saw it too and they thought it was the funniest thing. LOL
When I was a supply clerk in the Army I looked thru the NSN catalogue and they had an “atomic bomb simulator”. It was described as being 6 ft long, aluminum tube. It had to be buried in the ground leaving only 4 to 6 inches above ground, with no over hanging tree branches or any wires over the area. When it detonated it would create a blinding flash, a massive explosive sound, and a mushroom cloud that would rise about 400 to 600 yards. The cost was $6,000.
I always wanted to order one of those. The CO always just singed off on whatever requisitions we put on his desk. But, I figured that not many of those were ever ordered, and once it actually got to the supply depot they might put in a call. So, I never ordered it.
Our beaches are swept clean every night by tractors pulling giant sieves.
Nobody is allowed to stay on the beach overnight.
No campfires are allowed at all.
No glass containers of any kind.
No alcohol allowed.
No animals allowed.
No fishing allowed within a 100 yards of swimmers.
No Frisbee throwing allowed within 50 yards of people.
This is your Beach! Enjoy it!........................
Reminds me of the M*A*S*H episode and the Pizza Oven...............
If you would like more information about what’s happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me. Please send me your name by FReepmail if you want to be on this list.
Hawkeye: [regarding the requisition of the incubator being denied] We’re not asking for a jukebox or a pizza oven.
Captain Sloan: Oh, those I can let you have.
Henry: No kidding! Hey, those would be great on movie nights. You got any pizza requisition forms?
Captain Sloan: Just use the standard S 1798 and write in “Pizza” where it says “Machine Gun”.

It’s weird. The only info I can find is that the police either didn’t respond to queries or,
“On Facebook, police said they could not confirm where the devices came from.”
There’s NOTHING on how these things ended up in the ocean. Even USA Today simply referenced the Newport Police. It’s like the media has been directed not to ask questions of the US Army (i.e., the ‘logical’ question and literal origin of the devices).

Funny: I don’t recall the US Army operating in the Pacific Ocean. Again, I have to wonder what else they lost...

But now we're really in for it.
Ugh! But for the scantily clad women, why bother? Most of the Oregon beaches that I go to are all but deserted. The water’s cold, and in the summer, the wind makes it a sand blasting booth from your knees down.
Where are the veterans among our Freepers?
I’d be tempted to shove a cheeseburger or ten down her throat.
