IIRC he wore dresses because the King of France ordered him to do so.

I saw it live in St. Louis a long time ago and it was excellent. It’s disgusting how the current outfit wants to turn it into a freak show.

They have not existed to the extent we have now! Likely, were simply cross-dressers back then, ya think!?

He liked the ladies.
A whole lot.
And they liked him.
He was a spy so he did dress as a female from time to time. But he did a major goof that left the King of France with egg on his royal face. So the the king (it was one of the Louis) made him wear only female attire for a few years as punishment.
So maybe a crossdresser but I would not call him a tranny.

Pukity, Puke, Puke.
Transgenders are too mentally ill to ever take part in the founding of a Country…whether they existed or not.
Once again, PUKE!

Interesting. There was a biography published back in the early 60’s. I never saw it.
To: DFG
I’ll bet it completely fails at the ticket office and closes quickly... despite tons of media hype and fawning reviews.

That might have been where I read it.
It was years ago.
He was a rather interesting guy. Expert swordsman.

Murderers also existed back then. After a trial we executed them, when they were discovered/caught.

So they named Transylvania after William Trans?

I doubt in 1776, they talked about Transpeople. I doubt transpeople and/or gay were demanding rights - except the right to leave free, like all the people against the king.
That said, I'll make an appointment...
To Miss it...
To: DFG
More like semi cross dressers
Women cut their hair and dressed like the men in order to fight in the AR and the Civil War ...
Hardly the modern ‘trans’ idea ...
They were wives and mothers and went back to their families after the wars ..
There was no mutilation of their flesh etc ...
many had men fighting in the wars husbands brothers etc ..
Stupid attempt at a valid argument ...
To: DFG
Ok this is an abomination.
“1776” is a historical account of the founding of our country set as a musical.
