That bad people may, for their own reasons, support a nation invaded does not mean the nation invaded is unworthy of help.
You are free to help the nation invaded. Telling the rest of the United States they must as well is wrong.
This is just another forever war. We got out of Afghanistan finally, and now they have found us another, and suddenly there are tons of people telling us we need to spend all our money on buying stuff from the defense industry to foster the fight there.
Before all is said and done, hundreds of thousands of idealistic young guys will die, and whether Putin takes charge, or Globohomo manages to wrangle control, nothing will be different for anyone on the ground, except all those young guys who are our kind, and will be no more.
