He’s now just another skull on Trump’s bone pile. He voted to impeach, and now he knows to not even run again. At least he’s resigning early and the Gov can appoint the person who will serve out the remainder of his term.
Problem is, the Nebraska Governor is yet another Trump hater. So, it won’t be anyone we would care to have there.
The sad part is he will be replaced by a RINO who votes significantly to the left of him. Ultimately, the Democrats win.
