Russian conscripts are in revolt after being treated like 'cattle' and given 'no training' as they head to the war in Ukraine.
A video shows the men publicly complaining about their treatment in 'brutal, absolutely appalling conditions' after they were mobilised by Vladimir Putin.
The shocking footage is just the latest evidence of the total chaos over the Russian call-up of reservists that has left even Kremlin cheerleaders in despair.
The desperate recruits risk punishment by venting their fury over their plight after arriving by train in Belgorod region which borders Ukraine.
One of the soldiers, acting as a spokesman for the miserable men, says to camera: 'There are about 500 of us, all armed. Yet we are not registered to any military unit.
'We spent a week in brutal, absolutely appalling conditions. We had no provisions, no money - nothing at all.
'We have no clue who is going where, which military unit. Our weapons are not registered to us.
'Not a single machine gun is registered with a military ID….[against the Russian criminal code.'
He continues: 'The attitude from the officers is to treat us as cattle. No-one needs us, there is zero training.
'We eat what we buy ourselves. We spent an awful amount of money just to get food.'
The soldier then mocks the weaponry they have been issued.
He says: 'And don't even start us about the ammunition This is the ammunition they've given us
'It was found lying on the ground of the military unit.'

So great to hear this is the case, I’ll submit it for posting at DU where the sentiments are similar.
As expected, Putin’s intended cannon fodder. Not even issuing them proper weapons or ammunition with which to fight.
It’s gonna get really cold soon. I hope they have good boots and socks.
But they probably have to share those.
If things are half as bad as this propaganda states, these troops will be Ukraine’s problem in a few weeks as they will surrender en mass.

I cannot recommend Putin’s war.
I see the whole thing as senseless waste of human life. I do believe Ukraine has a right to defend its own nation.
I don’t necessarily take every news story about Russia or the front at face value however. I don’t fall for Russian propegandists here om this site either. They would justify killing many innocents if it somehow hurt the left. That is not sensible or strategic, only foolishness.
Yes, the Russian military has always had a reputation for brutality. The difference nowadays is social media.
It appears to me that Russia is baiting Ukraine to take territory and then face the task of trying to take a city Russia holds, such as Kherson. If Ukaine wishes to oust Russia from Kherson it will have to mass forces necessary to conduct the block to block fighting that Russia did when it captured Mariupol. Remember that?
Even if this is not a Russian plan (i.e., baiting the Ukrainians) the outcome will be the same. Ukraine will have to conduct a frontal assault on the city of Kherson and, in order to do this, will have to mass troops and equipment that will be easy targets for Russian artillery, missiles and bombs. Ukraine has no military power to counter what Russia can unleash. So, if your panties are in a knot over “Russia losing territory”, I suggest you take a nap on the fainting couch and calm down.
Who cares how the Russians treat their soldiers, that’s not going to change the fact that the Biden administration has started WWIII.
Tell your Putin to leave Ukraine.
