“Now he can trade her in for two 20-somethings.”

There’s an old saying that goes something like “No matter how hot your wife is, eventually you get tired of banging her”.

I think also political differences may have entered the picture.

Could be, especially if her hope was to drag him into some harry/Markle type waste of time stunts.

Divorcing a witch is always a good idea. She can fly off on her broom into the darkness.

Amen to that. Broke free from mine over 20 years ago. I was better off the day I walked out the door. Married again almost 3 years ago. Life is sooooooo much better now!!!!

Exactly. Like that ad on Craigslist about a hottie wanting a rich sugar daddy which prompted a reply from a wealthy guy about her being a “depreciating asset” as time goes by.

These remarks from you men are interesting. I guarantee you that on his deathbed he won’t be saying, “I SHOULD HAVE PLAYED ANOTHER SEASION” He’ll be saying.. “I SHOULD HAVE KEPT MY FAMILY TOGETHER. Other than that, I truly don’t care.

Maybe, but that’s assuming he doesn’t have someone else already lined up.

Peyton is hilarious! I’ve loved his SNL spots and any commercials he’s been in. As well as being a talented footballer, he just seems like a fun guy to be around.

And you can’t spell, ‘Eliminated’ without Eli. ;)

See my #60, I think he should have kept his agreement and retired, but he didn't. Frankly, I'm not a fan of Brady and I know nothing of his wife. My position, as stated in my early responses, is that this is horrible for the kids and a shame.

She has been a loyal and patient wife. I cannot believe that you guys immediately jump to it’s the woman’s fault. By all accounts They had a deal.. He broke it. Period. As a woman, I would question my and the children’s importance in his life.

Very few jump ship before securing alternative passage.

My guess, The Mrs was put away wet while riding a new horse.

Giddy Up.....

Toms got nothing to worry about, remember he signed the big broadcasting contract with Fox for after his playing days are over. Once he retires….

“ According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Brady agreed to a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox, earning him an average of $37.5 million annually. The deal would be the most lucrative in sports television history.”

Divorce is bad for one’s mental health, destructive to one’s finances, and downright horrible for children.

Been there.....it's not pretty

Most of the men commenting here are, I suspect, never-grew-up, jock-sniffing Peter Pans who effed up their own marriages and take strange comfort in Tom Brady's having effed up his. The #1 indicator of male immaturity is blaming women for one's own problems in life.

Speaking as a man, I would note that not every male on FR is a cretinous chauvinist. Just, you know, the majority. :-)

I’m sure the kids will be fine. Tom, by all accounts is a good dad.
