Like everything else in the contemporary West, the "woke" ESG financial system is forcing the GM board is to manage the company's decline.

If GM goes rouge, Wall Street analysts will bad mouth the company, commercial and institutional shareholders will dump their stock, and commercial banks will refuse them loans.

The elites are nothing more than a bunch of gangsters.

"Hey GM, those are some really nice rear wheel drive ICE vehicles you have there. It would a shame if anything happened to them. Maybe you should replace them with something more durable, like front wheel drive EVs ?"

Buy a pre-sold state ignition vehicle and refresh it. Depending on the make/model it would be something in the late 60’s/early 70’s. Easy way to check is raise the hood and see if it has points, distributor, voltage regulator, condenser, etc. if yes it will survive a EMP discharge.

IMHO Ford is being strong-armed into it. The CAFE standards penalize car companies on average mpg of the entire fleet of cars they make. If part of that fleet is EV's, their average mpg goes down to lower the penalties the gubment puts onto the car makers.

And I'm not anti-EV. I like EV's if they were sold in a free market. My wife and I like both our EV and our ICE pickup. I hate the gubment strong-arming companies like Ford to make EV's.
