Censorship is censorship any way you look at it. In here, we follow Jim's rules. He owns the board, while we have it, and is the only one that should be allowed to censor us. If a link is offensive, the person posting it should mark it as such. Maybe if editing was available, the person that posted it could have amended the post, or even removed it themselves, if they realized how it might look so some.
When you put a link on FR, the html allows for a title of the link to be worked into it. If you copy and paste a link, it does not. I rarely click on a link anywhere if I don't know what it is. I'm always removing viruses from my husband's computer because he is a link clicker.
People should decide what they want to look at. If they suspect it will upset their sensibilities, ignore it and move on. Removing things that "might" offend somebody is what they do to us almost everywhere we go.
I am offended by being told what I can read, look at, or believe. My auto-scroll works and I know how to use it.
