Vladimir Putin yesterday claimed that four occupied Ukrainian regions would remain part of Russia ‘for ever’ in a bizarre 40-minute tirade that included rants about ‘Satanism’ and colonialism.
The rambling speech formed part of a ceremony in Moscow that formally confirmed his land grab following a series of rigged referendums.
Ambling late to the podium in front of hundreds of ashen-faced officials, the despot lashed out at the West’s ‘neo-colonial’ foreign policy. ‘I want the Kyiv authorities and their real masters in the West to hear me, so that they remember this,’ Putin said.
‘People living in Luhansk and Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia are now becoming our citizens for ever.’

I don’t care who gave that speech. It was largely true. We have ZERO moral authority, no more than Sodom/Gomorrah, to be lecturing anyone else about anything.

As to Ukraine, those regions have repeatedly voted for Russia-backed candidates for a long time.

Curious that all the ‘random’ people the camera crew approached who were waiting in line were attractive young women wearing makeup and sounding happy. Almost as if it were a staged production.
It looks like President Putin just made it legal.

Putin:
They print dollars and euros, but you can’t feed anyone with paper, you need food. Energy is needed. Therefore, politicians have to convince their fellow citizens to eat less and wash less, and dress warmer at home. And those who start asking questions are called extremists.
I find him to be much more coherent than our DC overlords.
Tell your Putin to give his people indoor toilets.
