It depends on what one means by support, main post stuff is fine, where the men don’t have to mix with the hospital staff and the accountants and the lawyers and secretaries, and dentists, but support around the fighters needs to be males and warriors themselves.
Estrogen and cute teen girls do not help warriors bond and concentrate on becoming killers and violent machines of war, delivering death and destruction to our enemies.
Support means muscle, whether as a cook, or a guard, driving trucks through winter mud and forests, mechanics, carrying wounded and stretchers, changing a truck tire, loading artillery shells and boxes for the front everyone, and especially when enemy paratroopers are landing among the support.
This new Orwellian idea that the left has pushed as though the Infantry are surrounded by support soldiers who don’t do anything that the men’s girlfriends and moms can’t physically do, is insane.
I agree. Push ‘em back! Push ‘em back! WAY BACK!
I was in a Support Battalion for a good chunk of my Army career. We moved Bullets, Beans & Gasoline to the front lines, no matter where those lines were. Support Battalions took the brunt of injuries during Operations Desert Shield/Storm.
They made many changes to our MTOE (Modified Table Of Organization & Equipment) to keep the females out of combat positions.
Anyhow, I’ll just put in a COMMERCIAL here because female Veterans are becoming way too large of a statistic for our homeless these days.
