Is there bread? Yes, there is bread.
Some of those off-ramps have narrow strips of concrete that you must navigate carefully when getting off the highway. Watch out for the trucks!
Sometimes I like to go ocean swimming in cold weather when nobody else is on the beach except those walking unleashed dogs and the occasional old man with a metal detector looking for buried treasure.
I saw a woman once who swore she would never wear pants. I wanted to marry her but I was married already.
Once I was doing a cross country drive and I made a stop in Joplin, Missouri. They had a diner called The Garbage Pail and I ordered breakfast in a pail. I scooped out fried egg, bacon, hash browns and jalapeño peppers. Unlimited coffee. I had two sides of toasted sourdough and made sandwiches of the whole mess.
So, is there bread?
Yes, hard bread and oatcakes.
Now that’s honest food right there.
