Lying to Pollsters

Posted on 09/28/2022 10:10:13 AM PDT by tbewin

I've seen multiple posters bragging about how they lie to pollsters...how does this benefit our candidates in any way? This results in lopsided results skewed towards the Dems that:

1. Decreases the amount of $$$ our candidates get 2. Allow cover for the Dems cheating 3. Potentially decreases voter turnout

If contacted, tell the pollsters who you like and let's get accurate numbers out there.

“their extremists were committing similar atrocities around the world”

Except the New Testament doesn’t give them sanction for such acts, unlike the Koran. Try again.

“And that’s who is doing it...extremists.”

No, it’s Orthodox muslims who do these things. Following the example set by their founding “prophet”, the murderous, rapist, slaver Mohammed.

“Your thought process is no better than Bidens singling all conservatives out for the actions of a select few!”

No, I judge each individual muslim by their individual choice, which is to pledge loyalty to Islam and its murderous, barbaric code above all else.

You need to research the history of Christianity a little more. They’ve been around a little longer but their extremists were committing similar atrocities around the world.

Yeah, Boogieman, you know...."they"..."them". Those Christians are at it again. Complaining about CRT curricula, and pushing abusive pedos away from their children. And those Christians have been around for a lot longer than Ultra MAGA extremists who need to be monitored by, say, some newbie feeb posing as a severe Conservative.

I mean, they're both bad, right? Especially those Christian Conservatives! "They" especially need to be identified by, um... pollsters.

And dealt with.

You’re so dense you missed the point entirely! And do you think other religions support all the trafficking and other stuff you mentioned? Boogieman is a prejudiced fool, no denying it.

“That makes the atrocities worse them doesn’t it?”

Perhaps, but it doesn’t make Christianity, which condemns such atrocities, equivalent to Islam, which promotes them.

Oh no, I guess I’ll be put on a list. But I’m already on a list. So I guess they’ll have to underline my name in red pen and put asterisks next to it.

You’re not on a list. You overestimate your importance in the world.

“You’re not on a list.”

I’ve already been on a list for over 2 decades, so unless the FBI’s servers all got deleted, I am surely still on one.

Just happened to see this latest CT poll, which I don’t buy but it’s good for conversation.

https://www.chron.com/politics/article/CT-Insider-Poll-Blumenthal-Levy-Senate-race-17469432.php

So the poll says that Blumenthal is now leading 53-40 (supposedly because the Republican electorate nominated a conservative instead of the Establishment pantywaist).

So this poll is either accurate, manipulated intentionally to show the Democrat ahead and to suppress Republicans, or reflects some lying to pollsters to make Democrats think there’s a comfortable lead so they don’t have to bother voting, or to make undecideds vote for the Democrat because he’s significantly ahead.

What, in your view, would undecided people do in this case (conjecture of course)? If an undecided leans Republican generally, would they stay home, discouraged, still go vote for the Republican, or vote for the Democrat because they want to be on the winning side?

And if an undecided voter leans Democrat, would they stay home, thinking it’s in the bag, still go vote for the Democrat or (unlikely) vote for the Republican, who’s an underdog?
