The academic fraud in the “Climate Sciences” is disturbing. The way many believe every word is even more disturbing.
I looked in the obituary column today and was dismayed to find my 401k. I wondered what happened to it as it appeared anorexic the last time I saw it.

The “Hockey stick” was designed to be that way.
“dr” Mann research into tree rings (analyzing few trees on Yamal peninsula) yielded basically flat curve, actually decaying in last several years.
That was wrong, proven wrong by many. But it was at least scientific attempt to analyze something.
Since the last part of the curve was decaying, in contrary to measured temperature data, Mann “hide the decay” by adding real measurement to the graph.
So the hockey stick is aggregate of (factually wrong) Mann’s research up to 1972 and real data since, till 1998.
Since Mann picked the warming period of 1972-1998, and his flat curve before, it created desired hockey stick.
But then, without telling anybody of his aggregates, it cannot be characterized in any other way but as example of scientific fraud.
RIP Tim Ball. I have (and have read) at least one of his books. A more lucid writer on climate science you could not ask for. Godspeed!
