24 oz in the AM and another 24 oz around 3 PM every single day for the last 25 years... i wonder if that was enough.
“A cup of ANY liquid is 8 oz.”
IIRC, when it comes to “a cup of coffee”, it’s typically 6 oz.
With my Keurig (thank you, Rush, for that tip years ago!), my cups of coffee are 10 oz. About 3 a day.
Black coffee on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning, is a liver cleanser and stimulator.
Last week was Tim Horton’s. This week is Bravo from Dominican Republic. Then it’ll be Hometown Blend from Whole Foods (24 oz. bag for 67 cents/pound).
Excellent!
Knowledge is power.
Me having 2-3 cups a day results in people around me living longer.....
Even if the “experts” said coffee was bad for you (and they have) I wouldn’t stop drinking it!
Coffee - the sweet elixir of life!
I sold a bunch of funny coffee drinking mugs at a garage sale a few years back. Some foreigners bought the half a dozen or so that I had for sale and they were giddy over the funny mugs, and I'm sure they made good souvenirs to take back to their county that drinks mostly tea.
Green Mountain “Dark Magic” blend.
Strong but not bitter.
The perfect morning would be to crawl out of bed onto a massage table for my back and have them start a coffee IV.
Another mark of longevity is that those who have the most birthdays tend to live longer😎
Why did my husband’s cardiologist tell him to cut caffeine due to his afib?
Cup of coffee is a reason to get out of bed in the morning, something warm to hang onto as you stare blanky at the wall until the caffine kicks in, and of course, your stated secret to longevity and good health!
I have a bag of that in the freezer. I usually bought TJ Columbian whole beans but the price went from $11 to $14 for 28 oz.
Daughter bought some 8 OClock roast whole bean, 32 oz for I think $12 at I think Walmart, so around here that gets an additions 2 or 3 days morning coffee. 8 OClock is apparently the brand from the old A&P grocery store, my parents used it. I can still remember my mother dumping the beans in the grinder. (A good thing...I can still remember!)
Ground, caffeinated coffee was the best of the three types.

Ground Espresso is the best.
"Coffee is a way of stealing time which should by rights belong to your older self." Terry Pritchard
I’m going to start measuring the complexity of coding tasks in coffee cups. “This was a five-espresso algorithm.” Unknown
"I would rather suffer with coffee than be senseless." Napolean Bonaparte
"Coffee.... dark as Hell, strong as death, and sweet as love." French...Unknown
Drinking beer in a coffee mug. I feel like I am cheating on my coffee. Unknown
"Should I kill myself, or have a cup of coffee?" Albert Camus (unhuh...A French philospher!)
I got used to instant when we lived off grid for a few years and I tend to drink 4-5 cups. Sounds like I need to get a coffee maker and go back to ground. No mention of sugar.
Been drinking coffee since I was four years old, thanks to my VERY German Grandma who drank it, boiling, right off the stove. She let me have LOTS of cream (REAL cream!) with mine.
"Jah! You grow up big and strong, Liebchen!"
Now? Hazelnut Coffee & Hazelnut Creamer. Perfection!
“The perfect morning would be to crawl out of bed onto a massage table for my back and have them start a coffee IV.”
There’s a Million Dollar Idea, right there! :)
Now, that’s funny!
