I buy Trader Joe medium roast caffeinated and decaf. Have half-caf for breakfast. Love to go outside with the cat and have coffee on the lawn in summer. My BP is not wonderful until after I shower, dress, and do some exercise. Days at the gym produce BP like a teenager.
So far, so good.
I've been walking this same trail every day for the last 17 years.
Good coffee shouldn’t have adulterants. If it tastes so bad you have to add something, you are drinking bad coffee.
I grew up on strong tea, and since being married, strong coffee. My wife has been drinking it since being a small child. We go through bags of coffee faster than most, despite only using Aeropresses.
May you and your family live long lives and enjoy your coffee!
That is a man!
Same to yours CM. When i visit my dada’s home, the pot is constantly ON and brewing like a coffee shop, and he always says in case visitors show up. Of course, it’s mostly him.
Same as you, I think I spend more on coffee than actual food.
Tea - which is a true passion - I drink straight and plain (oolong or Darjeeling).
However, I like my coffee (French roast) with a good splash of half and half, which I think actually brings out the flavor in coffee. I would never think of putting that in tea, but in coffee I prefer that. Never sugar in anything.
The oddities of personal taste.
I wonder if that goes for heavily caffeinated black drink, a coffeelike or tealike drink made of toasted holly leaves (ilex vomitoria) that Southeastern Indians used to ritually overindulge in every spring. They may have used it more frequently and made special cups to serve it in. One kind out of lightning whelk shells and the other kind about the size and shape of a coffee cup wbich they made of clay.
These people is really stupid and dumb. Everybody I know uses coffee MUGS, not cups. A cup of tea but not a mug of tea. Are these people living under a rock? How many cups in a mug?
A coffee cup is 6 ounces A coffee mug is 2 coffee cups = “12 ounces. Source quora.com
Well I ginde my beans just before making my caffeinated coffee.
Coffee good! Until the next study that says it’s bad.
Mine is brewing right now, from fresh ground Columbian medium roast.
Personal trainer dies of caffeine overdose equivalent to 200 cups of coffee
Drinking coffee must therefore somehow protect against SIDS.
Regards,
I gotta have my Folgers Columbian. Four cups a day. And, yes, I take it with cream and a little sugar. So sue me! ;-)
bkmk
I thought that my coffee consumption would decrease when I got a Keurig pod machine.
But it tastes so good that I drink more now. I grind my beans and fill the pods every few days.
Been thinking of purchasing green beans and roasting it just for the fun of it. Have a screen drum that fits in my grill rotisserie for roasting. Just need green coffee beans.
Go to your nearest coffee roasters and buy some?
“I sincerely hope each of us can improve and extend our lives, to better glorify God.”
Mom and Dad had coffee on all day long and drank it no matter how fresh it was or wasn’t. (Mine has to be pretty fresh.) Dad lived to 86 and Mom turned 98 in August.
She had surgery three weeks ago that put her in a rehab facility for a few weeks. She hates it, but says, “God put me here for a reason. Maybe to witness to somebody.”
“BLACK. Not this fag homo weak-ass mammpy pamby, sugar and milk nonsense.”
THANK YOU!
When someone nearby is drinking the flavored coffee sometimes I have to leave the room because the smell gags me. Hazelnut. Vanilla. Pffft!
