The federal government says it's dropping all COVID-19 measures at borders on Saturday, meaning travellers will no longer need to provide proof of vaccination when entering Canada or wear masks on planes and trains.
As of Oct. 1, all travellers, regardless of citizenship, will no longer have to:

The border towns in Canada hit hard by missing American tourists this year too frickin late my money spent on travel in the USA.
What a fabulous birthday present for me!
Too late. People don’t have money to visit the Great White North. We have to use our money to buy groceries. Sorry Canuks.
If you want to help yourselves vote out that Trudeau clown. If you get a serious person in charge we promise to put someone who doesn’t have dementia in charge down here.
one of the major reasons why I didnt see family in Vancouver and SK. But the major reason is that the stupid studios in Vancouver have the mandate still on so that’s another bummer.
I had wanted to go visit Canada pre-COVID, but I don’t trust Commies enough.
Hmmmm..... hard to believe that Turdeau beat Bye-Done at dropping the requirements. The U.S. government still has this for air and land travel.... how rigidly they enforce it is another question but the links below are current as of today.
“Foreign national air travelers to the United States are required to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane to fly to the United States, with only limited exceptions...”

“TRAVEL ALERT: Beginning on January 22, 2022, DHS will require non-U.S. individuals seeking to enter the United States via land ports of entry and ferry terminals at the U.S.-Mexico and U.S.-Canada borders to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide related proof of vaccination, as COVID-19 cases continue to rise nationwide.
These new restrictions will apply to non-U.S. individuals who are traveling for both essential and non-essential reasons. They will not apply to U.S. citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents, or U.S. nationals.”
Suspended only ... can be reinstated any time.
This also had something, if not a lot, to do with it ... trying to make this lawsuit go away .... since they ‘suspended’, the lawsuit is “moot”, so they say.

Interview of Canadian Constitutional atty Keith Wilson by Viva Frei, in regards to challenge of Canadian cv19vx travel mandates. Some stunning admissions. Worth the hour from about 00:20 to 01:30
A little too late for me. I had a ski pass good for resorts near Lake Louise last year. The Canadian government made it near impossible to cross the border. FJB and F Justin Trudeau!
Even further in than the border; fishing farther north, visiting cities like Quebec City...probably all dried up.
