went from 3.59 to 4.15 overnight. Any where else seen this??..
Yes, in my travels toward the southern Mississippi River (Memphis and below) I have noticed some of the lowest prices.
Some stations on Long Island are now under $3
TN always has lower prices than NC...here it was 3.16 yesterday

Better tell GasBuddy!

Great photos.
I hope to see places like that eventually.
We had relatives all over the country when I was growing up and every two years dad would buy a new car and we would make a grand tour across the entire country visiting everybody. So I’ve travelled a lot since I was a couple years old. Now that we are retired, it’s fun to jump in the car and take quick jaunts. We went to Nelson and Karol, BC in August and Glacier in September. Unfortunately, the Many Glacier Hotel at Glacier NP is already completely booked in 2023!
There ae a couple of different ways to interpret what “doing a fabulous job” actually means.
There is “fabulous good” and there is “fabulous bad”. Anything to do with the current regime now entrenched in the Oval Office, just naturally trends to the “fabulous bad”.
I was in Detroit last week and I was shocked at how high gasoline prices were. Here in NC, I’m paying about $3.70/gal for premium. Detroit was $5.50.
😎👌 Yup. I guess he really is doing a fabulous job of ruining our economy.
Dam
The prices were slated to rise regardless, because they will shortly be swichting over to the winter fuel blend. Everytime that happens it spikes up initially.
25 cents overnight in Wasilla, Alaska.
Maybe its a Midwest refinery issue. Summer is over and more refinery output has to start switching to heating oil. Thpugh heating oil is less popular for household heating in the Midwest & the South than in the Northeast, there is still a refinery adjustment for it that has to be made.
Toledo refinery fire.
Where “here”? How close are the midterm races? (Very close and very influential here in GA.)
Oops, meant to post that - I’m in California, so no danger of a democrat losing, thus the high gas prices. As we can see, much lower price in an area with close races, in hopes of giving the rats and advantage.
Sunday the prices here in W Mich were around $4.189, by noon (that was when I first got on the road), apart from the Family Fare/D&W station in Grand Haven, which remained in the $3.60s, so I tanked up immediately. But anyway, it's Biden's fault, with plenty of blame to go around among the members of his handlers and cadre.
Thanks for the ping.
