Aren’t we lucky that both the mainstream and social media blocked the news about Hunter’s laptop? Aside from all the disgusting images found on it of Hunter’s drug and orgy-filled days and nights, the “Big Guy’s” take from the Chinese bribery was kept from the voters when it surely would have made a difference.

Big Tech teamed up to suppress one of the biggest stories of the cycle: the Hunter Biden laptop story. A post-election poll found that 17 percent of Biden voters would have reconsidered their decision had they been aware of the laptop story alone, not counting the hundreds of Breitbart News stories voters didn’t have access to due to Google censorship.

Biden’s margin of victory in three swing states was less than a percentage point, making tech censorship a pivotal factor in the outcome.

Bought Biden stays bought. Here’s his payback to Xi: Energy policies that hamstring domestic energy production, fueling inflated prices, and shortages of everything including food. Policies which benefit China, which is presently spewing more carbon-dioxide emissions into the world’s atmosphere than any other country on the planet -- 30%. And this will probably rise as the U.S. and Europe stupidly abandon fossil fuels before there are any viable alternatives.

Now we learn that in addition to China’s long-known industrial espionage, the administration has made it easy for China to steal our nuclear secrets. The great Daniel Greenfield reports:

“At least 154 Chinese scientists who worked on government-sponsored research at the U.S.’s foremost national security laboratory over the last two decades have been recruited to do scientific work in China -- some of which helped advance military technology that threatens American national security -- according to a new private intelligence report obtained by NBC News.

From the beginning of the Roosevelt Administration in 1932 to the end of the Truman Administration in 1952, the US Government was riddled at all levels with Communist agents and Communist sympathizers.

Communism was and is dedicated to the overthrow of the US Government because the Constitution of the United States that we used to be forced to follow because we live in a Constitutional Republic, which is ostensibly government by rule of law, not government by man or men.

Communists in our Government were and are a real threat. It wasn’t and isn’t some bogeyman, “Reds Under The Beds”, or a “Red Scare”. The Communists, like other Leftists including those in this country, made and make no secret of their intentions.

One has only to listen. I am reading a book now called “Who Can Hold The Sea: The U.S. Navy in The Cold War 1945-1960” by a preeminent author of US Naval History, James Hornfischer (recently deceased) where he discusses the atomic tests at Bikini Atoll, and we had invited two Soviet representatives there to witness the tests.

One of the Soviets was ostensibly a Soviet scientist who got along well with an American counterpart, until some issue came up that changed the guy from a friendly professional acquaintance to a ideologue with a smoldering resentment, and he began saying things that he knew this guy would have to report (with respect to the Soviet advances in developing nuclear weapons, which they had not yet tested, and which this guy knew the American would have to communicate to his superiors) and in the process laid it out and said something like “You Westerners are rank amateurs at intelligence and espionage. We have agents in every part of your government because we are much more sophisticated and advanced, and we take this work seriously. We are further along in developing the atomic bomb than you think.”

Joseph McCarthy made it his mission to expose people with known Communist sympathies or ties and prohibit them from working in sensitive government positions or in the military. He wasn’t (contrary to ignorant dimwits who still he was) involved with HUAC (House Un-American Activities Committee) because he was in the Senate.

McCarthy didn’t much care if Communist agents and sympathizers worked as actors, construction workers, car mechanics, or private businesses not involved in sensitive government work.

He was interested in rooting out and getting rid of Communists working in places like the State Department, the US Military, and other government organizations or private companies with contracts to deliver advanced or sensitive military equipment.

This would, to normal people, appear to be a commonsense approach and not worthy of debate on whether it should be policy or not.

And here we are. Same situation today, a half a century apart.

Back then, there was (in a Communist Soviet Union) a secretive, tyrannical, and bloodthirsty Communist regime which openly advocates for the overthrow and destruction of the United States, and using military and industrial espionage as a tool to accomplish it.

Today (in a Communist China) a secretive, tyrannical, and bloodthirsty Communist regime which openly advocates for the overthrow and destruction of the United States, and is using military and industrial espionage as a tool to accomplish it.

Back then, there were American Soviet sympathizers and outright agents in nearly every level of government working towards the goal of increasing the power and influence of the Soviet Union to the detriment of the United States and the West.

Today, there are American Chinese Communist sympathizers and outright agents in nearly every level of government working towards the goal of increasing the power and influence of the Chinese Communists to the detriment of the United States and the West.

Back then, these sympathizers and agents were driven by both primarily by ideology and then by greed.

Today, these sympathizers and agents are driven not only primarily by greed first and then ideology, they are also driven by blackmail and other factors, and their activities are seen in BOTH major American political parties.

Back then, it was primarily the Democrat Party in the form of the Roosevelt and Truman Administrations that enabled this, and they fought against anyone (who got in their way, such as Senator Joseph McCarthy) by using the Politics of Personal Destruction, ad hominem and smear.

Today, it is primarily the Democrat Part in the form of the Clinton, Obama, and Biden Administrations that enable this, and they fight against anyone (who gets in their way, such as President Donald Trump) by using the Politics of Personal Destruction, ad hominem and smear. There are a few significant differences today, however.

Today, fueled by greed and blackmail, many Republicans have been brought onboard in this destructive endeavor, and nearly the entire media has as well.

But even worse...it isn’t just the “Politics of Personal Destruction” being used by the Democrats to destroy their opponents. They are leveraging the organs of government, the CIA, FBI, NSA, DOJ, and even the military to accomplish this goal of destroying their opponents, and they are collaborating directly with the media, education, entertainment, and industry (Big Tech and Big Pharma) to do so.
