“Which peppers did you grow?”

Shishito (Thanks to MomWithHope!)
Barron
Atris
Big Red

...and two yellow and two purple bells, just for fun and more colorful Stir-fries and Fajitas.

It was pretty much a, ‘use up pepper seed on hand’ season. :)

How can you resist a plant called, 'Kiss Me Over The Garden Gate?' This heirloom is so pretty and fun to grow. It can self-seed in some growing zones, but you're going to be cutting so many of the seed heads for bouquets, that usually isn't a problem. It dries beautifully for dried floral arrangements, too. Seed is available through Baker Creek.

From Baker Creek: Annual. A pollinator friendly favorite from the Victorian era. This unsung hero of the classic cottage garden boasts cerise pink draping, rope-like flowers. Plants mature over 6' tall. We are happy to offer this rare and colorful heirloom from the gardens of yesteryear. A nice cut or dried flower.

Peppers. I am getting to the point where peppers need to grow quickly and in quantity or I won’t grow them. Shishitos are 60 days; and Shervna Chuska are 85. Maybe I should try king of the north or Beaver Dam? The Atris looks like a good pepper!
