Breaking. Right now there is not a reliable source to confirm this news. But there are media sources from Napal, Taiwan and other anti Chinese, that China's President Xi Jinping is under military arrest.

Xi is a bastard but this isn’t news. These “rumors” are several days old, all from Falun Gong-types and constitute wishful thinking. Zero actual evidence, no reporting from any reputable sources. Not sure why this is listed as “breaking news.”

What we do know is that the Party Congress is just around the corner. The week-long event will likely be held in late October or early November (before the November 15-16 G-20 Summit in Bali, which Xi is expected to attend). ....And all indications show that Xi is set not only to get a third term, but to further consolidate his power.

China is about one of the most internet connected countries on the planet, with more people on the Internet by far than any other country.
And they have hundreds of millions on Tik Tok alone.
You can't have a military coup in China without it getting covered by major news media.
This is not the Congo we are talking about here.

Traditionally, the emperor of China has the mandate of Heaven so long as he can maintain his seat on the throne. However, if one of the barons is able to unseat the emperor, then the baron has the mandate of heaven.
It is just like democracy, except that the franchise is limited and they use guns instead of counting votes.
