An Idaho mom says she took her 7-year-old son to a craft store to cheer him up after he was bullied at school. They were having a great time scouring the aisles for the perfect fabric for a new Spider-Man dress she was going to make for him, Piper Phillips said in a now-viral TikTok video. But they ran into more bullying when they got to the fabric-cutting counter at the Joann Fabrics in Moscow, Idaho, she told Insider. The incident led Joann’s to fire the worker for making “inappropriate, judgmental and derogatory remarks.”

Now I know why a lot of employees are rude and don’t say much of anything to you. And they don’t smile much anymore either. People use to be friendly. Not so much these days. We are turning into an automaton nation.
The customer has a history with the store, and the employee. I’m surprised she didn’t record the encounter. Sounds like a set-up.

My spidey sense tells me this mother deliberately baited the employee so the mother could play the victim; as playing the victim is the way to get ahead in today’s society.

Back in the day the bullied went to karate class or self defense. If it was words kids were taught phrases like “sticks and stones…”
