King Charles Just Received an Unusual Formal Request from Meghan Markle, "Allegedly," Sources Claim

When Prince Harry first started dating Meghan Markle, it seemed that her relationship with her boyfriend's father was perfectly normal.

Then, when Meghan's father backed out of coming to the huge wedding, King Charles stepped in and walked his future daughter-in-law down the aisle.

Many assumed that the moment signified that the two were quite close. However, when Harry and Meghan decided to leave behind their roles as working members of the Royal Family and head back to Meghan's homeland, it became clear that their relationship was far from great.

In recent months, Meghan has continued to solidify the tension between herself and husband's father, openly discussing Harry and Charles' relationship issues. But according to a new source, Meghan has made an unusual formal request to the grandfather of her children.

Meghan and Harry are expected to return to Montecito, California, very soon after the funeral events end. However, a "very good source" claims that Meghan has asked to meet with the King prior to their departure.

During his YouTube channel, Neil Sean's Daily News Headlines Royal expert Neil Sean claims that an insider revealed to him that Meghan wants to meet with the king in hopes of healing the relationship before she leaves the country. "And as ever allegedly," he noted.

"She'd now like before they return back to California to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III," he revealed. "That's right. Meghan one-to-one with King Charles. You heard correct."

Apparently, Meghan wrote to the King in a letter. "And what's interesting here is according to that good source, this was made in a formal letter. This is how you write to the King through his equity and of course that's passed on, etc.," he said. "Now, you know, you have to admire Meghan's self-belief, whatever you think."

"It would be an opportunity to clear the air, pull the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they've been doing over the last two years," he said about the contents of the letter. Will a meeting make things better and will it actually happen? "Truthfully, we have no idea if this is going to go forward," he said.

After marriage to Harry, Meghan did not like the less than adoring way she was treated by the British press and attributed that to a lack of support from the royal family and their well-honed press operation. Her reasoning was that of the narcissist that she is, as was her response, taking off to America with Harry in tow as a captive of sorts.

What is Meghan up to now? With the expected riches of a renewed acting and media career in America proving elusive, she would like to test the waters for some sort of reconciliation with the royal family now that it is under new management. That may be possible, and Charles will be the soul of politeness and good will, but he is unlikely to yield to her charms and trust Meghan enough to let her back into royal good favor, at least not on the easy terms that Meghan will no doubt expect.

What Meghan fails to recognize is that the British royal family relies on publicity and public affection as much as any Hollywood celebrity must. And bossy, demanding, high maintenance, all too American Meghan did not sit well with the British public. In American media terms, she rated a low Q score from the Brits. Unless Meghan somehow wins the British public over, she will continue to be on the outs, stuck in the role she made for herself and Harry but does not now like.

She had every opportunity - the Brits AND the royals welcomed her with open arms and tremendous good will.

I don’t think they’re going to allow themselves to be ‘twice burned’ by a classless nobody.

Not sure it needed to be house broken.

Joe isn’t.

If she was the gold digger everyone here seems to think, she would have pressed her husband to STAY in the royals, instead of leaving.

They seem happy together, she’s a libtard but so are the rest of them. I don’t understand the hatred for her.

She’d have to give back the golden goose, so...

I guess you didn’t see the Oprah interview.

People do despise her hateful and self-centered behavior.

True enough, but on balance, the best move for Charles is to placate Meghan enough to get her to tone down her criticism of the royal family, while stringing her along until she learns to behave herself.

Suppose, for example, Meghan took on a light-hearted, charming acting role in a movie set in Britain and donated her salary to a popular British charity. And positively radiated good will toward the Brits in the promotional interviews, with her kids and Harry in tow.

I don’t think she has it in her to stop promoting her pose of victimhood or to stop criticizing them.

I’m a forgiving person in my personal life; but I wouldn’t let this spider anywhere near me again. Some people are just narcissistic poison.

Just a guess, but I would think their move to California did not sit well with the British people. I don't know if the Brits are possessive of their royal family or not, but it struck me that an American coming in and basically snatching away one of the more popular and visible members of the family would not be looked at favorably.

Somewhat different circumstances, but when Wallis Simpson took King Edward away from the crown, she must have been reviled by the British people.

Have you seen the clips where he tries to pull his hand away? She then doubles down and clings on to his whole arm.

They are both mentally ill, disordered people. She started off as a Becky Sharp, but now seems just a few steps away from Bertha Mason Rochester territory. I won’t be surprised if one or both have to be institutionalized at some point.

Removing King Edward was probably a great blessing in disguise, in the end - but at least he had the grace to realize he couldn’t ‘have his cake and eat it.’ If you don’t want to serve, you don’t get the perks.

(And I think Markle had dug her hole with the family and the Brits before the big move.)

You have Meghan pegged, but the royal family has all sorts of ways to handle even narcissists. In the end, most of them are brought into line, doing their best to behave, even against their own nature.

I don’t know if that would be good for Harry. At some point, he’s got to come to his senses instead of being enabled.

I have hopes that their dog-and-pony show will collapse, and then he can go back to his family without the ball and chain.

He needs to be constantly reassured by his master that she’s close by... It is truly sad. Harry always was a momma’s boy and Meghan is obviously his new mommy, master and manipulator. He likely doesn’t urinate without her permission... Sad, but true. This dude fought in Afghanistan, and now he appears to be scared of his own shadow.
