It’s not the active ingredients of NyQuil that matter, it’s the sauce and marinade provided by the containing inactive syrup. I would like to know who thinks these thing up, though.
Now, if they were doing this with the dextromorphan cough syrup used in purple drank, I might understand the appeal.

Chicken also has tryptophan in it. Apparently, Nyquil-marinated chicken is called sleepytime or bedtime chicken.
