A person linked to the Boston Public Schools community has monkeypox, local families were told Monday.
Boston 25 News reports a letter has now been circulated to the school community.
In the missive, Acting Superintendent Dr. Drew Echelson and Incoming Superintendent Mary Skipper wrote, “An adult member of our BPS community has been diagnosed with monkeypox.”
The school system reportedly worked closely with the Boston Public Health Commission and the affected person to identify and notify exposed individuals, officials said.

I think that to most of them it is a vocation.
True....but touching clothes, bedding which was used by monkeypox infected person could spread it, or touching respiratory secretions...
We can add the following: don’t use bed or blankets of infected person, no french kissing or touching or eating boogers of infected person.....plus an infected animals bite can spread it....stay away from anyone who is high risk...
99% of the people getting it are men who stick their Johnsons into the exit orifices of other men.
The other 1% are their children, and I don’t even want to think about how they get it.
