HUH? Is jeff implying that 11% of his current employees are oppressive racists? Or is jeff saying he didn't hire enough of a diverse (?) work force initially making him the oppressive racist? If the #1 goal is to become anti-racist/anti oppression, well, your priorities are misplaced. Product? Meh! Shares declined 78%? Make it an even 100% jeff. Freakin' wokenistas. Now known as grovelin' jeff lawson............. 🤡

“””In the past year, Twilio shares have declined in value by over 78%.”””

This was the last sentence in this story. Gee, it appears a WOKE company has gone BROKE.

“As you all know, we are committed to becoming an Anti-Racist/Anti-Oppression company,” Lawson wrote... ‘so we are gonna lay off z bunch of white honkeys in an effort to keep the blm crowd from burning down our businesses and robbing us blind, because you know, we ain’t racist or nuttin’

Republicans do anything and it is racist.

Democrats do anything bad and it is anti-racist.

Any company with a "diversity coordinator" is already circling the drain.

It better have some good civil rights lawyers on staff.

I remember seeing an old OLD political cartoon of a black worker telling his wife he has gotten a great job! Next panel showed him laid off because of his color.

Now it is in reverse.

I also remember another cartoon from the 1960s showing a row of white men in line at an employment office. The manager looks over them and points to the only black man way back and says...”It looks like YOU are next!”

Looks like we are there again.

They will also receive the full value of Twilio’s next stock vest.

The value of which will be zero after the “diversity hires” run the place into the ground.

Intel did something like this back in 2015.
They were shocked how many valuable people left rather than deal with what was coming.
It nearly sank the company.

The new CEO is doing a fair job recovering from this disaster but only time will tell.

Twilio’s biggest mistake is not adequately supporting open-source solutions.

Their bread and butter are large companies that can afford in-house developers. Small businesses need cheap, turnkey solutions. And Twillio is very well positioned to provide them. But they have not done the best job of this. It’s still quite expensive to implement solutions on their platform.
