Just as Cuba did during the 1980’s Mariel boat lift, the Venezuelans are seeing our open borders as an opportunity to clean house.
Last week, Monica Showalter wrote about her suspicion that Venezuela is taking a page out of Cuba’s book and emptying its prisons, with instructions to the departing prisoners to head for America. On Sunday, Sara Carter published a post confirming that a DHS intelligence report has been warning the Border Patrol to be on the lookout for violent criminals in Venezuela’s caravans (although how they’re supposed to identify them must remain a mystery).
On Thursday, Monica wrote:
The Venezuelans as a migrant group seem to have many criminals in their ranks, which appears to be a reflection of the massive crime in their own country. While some Venezuelans indeed may qualify for asylum, these people should not even been allowed in the country under Biden's catch-and-release policy. Releasing the slums of Caracas onto the people of Florida is a crime in itself. The violence seen coming from this group is striking — it reminds me of the Marielito criminal onslaught that plagued Florida when Cuban dictator Fidel Castro emptied out his prisons and mental asylums in 1980, and a huge wave of criminals were foisted onto the U.S.
Monica explained that the government eventually put all the Cubans into detention centers to separate honest wheat from criminal chaff. “The Venezuelans,” she wrote, “face no such brakes under the Biden administration, and Biden himself is exerting no pressure on Venezuela to take the criminals among them back, which is what past presidents have done when Castro acted out.”

Stumbling toward rock bottom.
If you are a Central American Country who is not a friend of the USA, it’s a perfectly logical decision on their part, empty out all your worst prisoners and insane people and tell them they are free to go, just leave for the USA, you will be accepted there.
It’s cheaper than housing them in those countries and it gets rid of the undesirables.
I have gotten tired of the talk. Article after article, all the same about the border nightmare.
We as people know all about it and can do nothing because both political parties in America encourage and want open borders. They just don’t want these people in their own gated communities.
We can’t seem to stop this at the polls so it is really a dead issue.
Our government is hurting and killing innocent people and they’re afraid to say anything.
Its like a biological weapon attack. We should retaliate. Park an aircraft carrier off their shore and finds some targets the commies didn’t destroy.
They should have fit right in at Martha’s Vineyard, the natives felt the couldn’t compete.
thats what cuba did with mariel boatlift in 1980 miami was inundated with crime and murder

Round 'em up and ship 'em out.
No surprise here.......
That when Tony Montana and Manny came over.
If we’re willing to put up with this, then we deserve the inevitable result. We’ve become a weak, foolish, frivolous people. We certainly aren’t a “nation.”
“Someone is doing the raping.”
The Venezuelans are not the only ones emptying their prisons into the U.S.. The DemocRATS are doing the same thing. Does BLM have an office in Venezuela?

You don’t suppose this invasion is the result of a former President’s mandate?
Venezuela is by far not the only country being unloaded on the US. People from some countries might actually qualify as a genuine refugee. Most do not.
I am not quite sure what you mean by “this invasion”. The invasion has been ongoing for many years.
Biden’s catch-and-release policy in action no cost is to high for a vote.
That’s why I refer to these people as human garbage
