New York City shelters are so overwhelmed by the migrant crisis that Mayor Eric Adams is considering using cruise ships as temporary housing.
“We examined everything from the legality of using any type of cruise ship for temporary housing,” Hizzoner during an interview on WCBS Sunday.
“We’re looking at everything to see, how do we deal with this?”
Adams made the suggestion just hours before The Post reported that a record number of 9 buses carrying migrants traveled into the city.
Each bus typically carries between 40 and 50 migrants.
The influx is crippling the New York shelter system. Full-time facilities are being pushed to the brink and affecting the quality of life of the neighborhood and the city has opened 23 emergency shelters, but there are still not enough beds.
Cruise ships could help alleviate the stress, according to Adams, and were once an alternative the Bloomberg administration considered during its own migration surge.
Adams did not disclose any further details regarding the potential floating shelters but slammed federal policy of barring migrants from working in the US before obtaining work permits.
“We’re saying, ‘You could come here, but you are not allowed to work.’ That is unbelievable,” Adams said, noting the shortages in various sectors, including food, healthcare and transit.

The recent events on a Carnival Cruise returning to NYC Harbor are instructive. .
Idea. put Adams on a ship and put the illegals in his home and office. At least some have asked for work.
Do these migrants ever sleep, shower, sh*t, and eat? They seem to be in a constant state of migration.
Do not be fooled, the Cruise ships are a way to provide cover for the corrupt democrats to move them to another state without being noticed for their hypocrisy.

If the same people running the Migration are running the cruise ships, how many decks per ship will be used for NY’s prostitution needs?

I’m saving up for a vacation to Cozumel, and these criminals are going to be put on a cruise ship for free?
But it’s OK for border states to deal with many times this number?

We already send cash to the illegals home gubmint.
We redirect that cash to contract cruise ships(lot’s of excess capacity due to the pins heads of public health) to move illegals back home.

Better yet! House them at all the Disney theme parks. That way, Martha’s Vinelanders can go an actually see them up close and become “enriched” by the experience.
I was wondering if Adams was truly going to be just as nuts as De Blasio - this puts to rest any optimism that I had.
Why make them walk all the way to NYC. Just send the cruise ships to Mexico to transport them to the USA.
