"Yeah, Tom Brady was one out away from a no-hitter, can you belive that? Anyway, Jack, did you guys watch the Emmys? My heartfelt congratulations to Lee Jung-jae, Zendaya, Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls and all the other fabulous winners.
"Oh dear, now Brandon is making up Emmy winners. At least make them believable!"
"Big Grrrls is the best show on televison, Red. Bill Clinton and I watch it together every whatever day it's on. And you better believe Jill has trouble walking the next morning, thanks to these below the waist injections my good friend Hugh Hefner turned me on to. Gosh, I miss him. But I'm seeing him next month, we're playing croquet at The Hauge with Queen Margrethe to celebrate her becoming Europle's oldest and sassiest Queen."
Oh, that reminds me, I got an angelgram from Bender and he informs that Elizabeth II is doing great and drinking him under the table!
"Margrethe is the Queen of Denmark, not the Netherlands."
"Actually, toots, inflation is pretty bad over there and Denmark inflated all the way to The Hauge, alight? Tony Blinken keeps me apprised of this sort of thing. Just yesterday I recieved the new Ambassador from Wakanda, he got mad when I forgot his name and called him Corn Pop but these things happen, I told him Big Grrrls was on and that sure cheered him right up."
back to mediocrity...
no redemption this week.

In week one, Platypus Pie, A Boston Patriot and myself tied for the win at 10-5.
It’s going to be a long season for the “Boyz”.
Sunday set the pattern.
No Dak for a least four weeks, not that he was burning the stats with his accuracy.
Sad thing as a long suffering Dallas fan, I picked the bucs to beat Dallas. For shame.
But it did get my picks in the 8-7 average.
Here’s to looking to next year.
Man, not a good week. The Colts manage a tie, the Titans and Broncos and Niners lose in upsets. Glad I didn’t have real money down! On to Week 2!

Fired up for my Bungals and Cowgirls game later, in early games my market gets TB v NO and Pitt v NE, so I’m interested in watching the Stealer game big time, will switch back and forth to keep up on Brady game.
ROAR!!!!!!!
Here's the current tally sheet from yahoo, but I've noticed it has errors in the ranking numbers;
Big'o freeper, toast and platipus are all tied with 18 wins, it should say they're all tied for 2nd place.
The world is coming to an end, the Jaguars are all alone in first place.
Could we see a Tua vs Hurts Super Bowl?
