In vitro and in vivo Antiallergic Effects of Taurine on Allergic Rhinitis
…In addition, taurine treatment increased the production of SOD3 and PPAR-γ, which, in turn, suppressed expression of proinflammatory cytokines through phosphorylation of ERK1/2.
Conclusion: Taurine could potentially serve as a therapeutic treatment for allergic disorders.

Study shows that the amino acid taurine could be used in anti-aging therapy
One group took three 500 mg capsules of taurine per day for 16 weeks (1.5 g per day). The other took corn starch.
Markers of oxidative stress were analyzed in blood samples. One interesting result was an increase of almost 20% in levels of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the group that received taurine, compared with a decrease of 3.5% in the control group. As the authors explain, SOD protects cells against harmful reactions of the superoxide radical.

why not just avoid chemo since it’s a toxin that doesn’t heal people?
A lot of people are on methotrexate for autoimmune issues. When the Dr used the word chemotherapy when he mentioned that drug I ran away from it. Will have to look into the things you mention and see what it does for autoimmune stuff
I take a capsule that contains SOD but I have to take it on an empty stomach or it gets digested. I will probably start taking Taurine again. (Amino acid that is both water and fat soluable but you probably already know that!)
