It is difficult to believe that any college administrator is even contemplating requiring college students to get an Omicron booster shot. Luckily experts with the American College Health Association’s (ACHA) Campus COVID-19 Vaccination and Mitigation (CoVAC) Initiative believe students will not be required to get the jabs. Instead, college administrators will subject them to increased COVID-19 vaccination-education efforts. Let’s hope they include the ethical arguments against boosters for young adults made by nine leading physicians and scientists in a new preprint.
A group, including familiar faces such as Dr. Marty Makary, Dr.Vinay Prasad, and Dr. Tracy Beth Hoeg, reviewed the data on vaccine efficacy, immunity from prior infection, and vaccine risks using age stratification. After the review, they found five ethical arguments against college-aged students receiving the Omicron booster:
After reviewing CDC and trial data, the team estimated that colleges must boost 22,000 – 30,000 previously uninfected adults aged 18-29 with an mRNA vaccine to prevent one Covid hospitalization. Omicron was reportedly the most infectious variant to date and did not cause prominent symptoms in many who became infected. Because testing became something people could do at home, and many people with mild symptoms may not have tested, it is impossible to know how many Americans remain Covid naive.

Which begs the question: Nuremberg Trials 2.0 when?
We understand for some folks there wasn’t much option but for the unvaxxed, for whatever reason:
MESSAGE TO THE UNVACCINATED:
Even if I were pollinated and fully vaccinated, I would admire the unvaccinated for withstanding the greatest pressure I have ever seen, even from partners, parents, friends, colleagues and doctors. People who were capable of such personality, courage and critical ability are undoubtedly the best of humanity. They are everywhere, in all ages, levels of education, states and ideas. They are of a special kind. They are the soldiers that every army of light wants to have in its ranks. They are the parents that every child wants to have and the children that every parent dreams of having. They are beings above the average of their societies, they are the essence of the people who have built all cultures and conquered horizons. They are there, next to you, they look normal but they are superheroes. They did what others could not, they were the tree that withstood the hurricane of insults. discrimination and social exclusion. And they did it because they thought they were alone and believed they were the only ones. Banned from their families’ tables at Christmas, they never saw anything so cruel. They lost their jobs, let their careers sink, had no more money but they didn’t care. They suffered immeasurable discrimination, denunciation, betrayal and humiliation but they kept going. Never before in humanity has there been such a ‘casting’, now we know who are the best on planet Earth. Women, men, old, young, rich, poor, of all races or religions, the unvaccinated, the chosen of the Invisible ark, the only ones who managed to resist when everything collapsed.
That’s you. You passed an unimaginable test that many of the toughest Marines, Commandos, Green Berets, astronauts and geniuses could not withstand
You are made of the stuff of the greatest who ever lived, those heroes born among ordinary men who glow in the dark.
We remain “NON GMO”.
V Prasad has many insightful and interesting things to say.
HOWEVER, he thinks there is a short-term benefit to the clot-shots. He says it reduces the risk of getting Covid for a rather short amount of time (maybe around 45 to 60 days?). And that it gets the recipient of the jab across to a point in time when the virus is no longer highly present in the local populations.
ALSO, he continues to refer to the Jim Jones Jab as a “vaccine”, and frequently points out that he is not an “anti-vaxxer”.
Well duh.
Top Doctors should be embarrassed for what they did for the last 3 years.
That’s right, 3 years. Sept is the anniversary of the Lab leak.
One of our DILs, a Wharton grad cracked this code early on:
She had two healthy offspring in college when this B$ came out.
Using CDC’s own data at this time, she showed that there was basically no serious Covid illness in that age group and any cases were mild.
Her point was, why give anyone an injection with potentially more side effects and serious problems than the disease, which according to CDC was not a problem for those age groups.
The very governing bodies who would be tasked with such an endeavor are already in bed with the very people who have committed these crimes against humanity.
She cracked the code....did she pull her kids out of college?
A sincere “Thank you!”
No, and they didn’t take the shots.
Why was it so hard to get to this point?
Wasn’t it obvious all along?
My wife reminded me that the younger kid came home as his college closed that year. Then, he finished that year at home and online.

Hear, hear!

>> adults aged 18-29
From the beginning, case-fatality for this demo was ~0.02% — that’s 2 out of 10,000.
BTW, that’s reported case-fatality — where no doubt every related death was reported. But not every case was reported. So that rate of 0.02% may be much smaller.
That’s great....i thought all the college kids got strongarmed into this
Besides being an knowledgeable person, our DIL has zero fear in protecting her offspring even those considered adult.
Below is the main factor which made people back off mandated shots for her adult children in a west coast college and an east coast college.
Adults aged 18-29:
From the beginning, case-fatality for this demo/group was ~0.02% — that’s 2 out of 10,000. as per CDC.
Most admins didn’t want to go against those odds, and a well educated parent with great verbal skills and a well equipped mind!
