As the November elections approach, the New York gubernatorial race is heating up, and some Democrats have crossed the political aisle — as they are unhappy with Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Long Island Rep. Lee Zeldin is Hochul’s Republican opponent, and a group of conservative Democrats is now in his corner, the New York Daily News reported.
On Monday, Zeldin was officially endorsed by a small group of current and former New York lawmakers who have been critics of Hochul, despite her being a Democrat.
Rev. Ruben Diaz Sr., a former member of the New York state Senate and City Council, called Hochul’s leadership a “disaster.”
“The way Gov. Hochul is running the city and the state is a disaster,” Diaz said in a news conference with Zeldin outside of Albany’s City Hall, the Daily News reported.

If being a disaster were disqualifying, New York would have had over a century or Republican rule. (I was born in Manhattan, my ancestor is named in the 1664 New Netherlands census.)
Watch for another kidnapping attempt to be thwarted by the FBI just in time to rescue her election chances and smear her opponent. They don’t think people are smart enough to spot the pattern.
Newsom received 62% of the vote in the CA recall. A DEM is not losing in NY for governor. Citizens of that state in the large cities have a death wish.
So which is it: Yankees, or Red Sox?
I could say Mets, but I grew up a Yankees fan, but living in the Gay State the past 40+ years I have slowly converted. The BLM groveling thing mostly turned me off to professional sports.

NY seems to prefer radicalism and dysfunction to stability and progress. They will most assuredly make the wrong choice.
Zeldin will win.
