so they took away plastic bags , LOL
Typical leftist response: BAN FISHING! Anyway, we get our fish at the store . . .
Plastic is combustible, right?
So build some unmanned robotic barges that suck up the plastic and use the energy to power themselves. Maybe some solar panels as supplement.
Okay, I’ve lost a lot of lures, but that was mostly in lakes.
This only means one thing they plan to ban fishing but China, Japan and Korea will tell them where to go
How about no plastic boats?
How about no plastic cars?
How about no plastic politicians?
Yeah- not sure if there really is a GPGP. Sure, there are probably patches of trash that accumulate in gyres in the oceans, and we should clean them up, but the articles always make it sound like there are miles upon miles of garbage islands.
When searching, there are lots of pictures of trash in the water, but no proof that there is an enormous floating island of trash.
Oh the mysterious great ocean garbage patch that nobody can locate or photograph.
And yeah this “study” sounds really scientific. I wonder how much taxpayer funds these grifter clowns feast on.
The first paragraph is in ALL CAPS, making it difficult to read for near sighted folks like myself, but it can be done.
Just letting you know.
I am firmly in favor of people not littering but punishing the mostly responsible and cuddling the mostly culpable is not going to have a happy result.
There were news stories a few years ago, reporting that most of the plastic in the Pacific was from Chinese companies our municipalities paid China to “recycle”. Rather than recycle the plastic, they found it was more profitable to either dump it in the Pacific or into Chinese rivers that flowed into the Pacific. These stories quickly disappeared, once the environmentalists realized that people would stop “recycling” if they knew the truth.
Why can I see a piece of paper in my driveway on google earth, but can’t see the great pacific garbage patch the size of Texas in the Pacific? Yeah I read all the excuses but I ain’t buying it.
Yeah, because cruise ships with 1000’s of people on board, carry their garbage around with them for weeks at a time, right?
