WATCH: Cowboys QB Dak Prescott pelted with trash, booed as he leaves game

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had trash thrown at him and was booed by some fans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as he left the field with an injury Sunday night.

Prescott left the game amid a flurry of boos during the game's 4th quarter due to a thumb injury, which will likely sideline him for at least six weeks, according to ESPN.

Some fans at the game who were upset with the quarterback expressed their frustration by pelting him with trash.

Earlier this year, fans at the stadium threw trash at referees and players at the end of the Cowboys' first-round loss in the playoffs last season. Prescott praised the fans in January for throwing debris at the refs, saying "credit to them" in a press conference following the playoff loss last season.

The thumb injury means Prescott will likely miss at least one game for the third season in a row. In 2020, Prescott suffered an injury to his right ankle in week 5 against the New York Giants that forced him to sit out the rest of the season, and in 2021, he suffered a calf strain that caused him to miss a week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

"It's very disappointing, but injuries happen, can't necessarily control it, just unfortunate," Prescott said in a press conference after the game. "Obviously going to miss some time, not be there for my team, and that's what hurts more than anything, especially after the start we just put out there. Wanted to be able to respond, and not necessarily having that opportunity for several weeks, yeah, it's unfortunate."

The Cowboys lost the game to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19-3, with Prescott finishing the game with 14 pass completions for 134 yards, one interception, and no touchdowns. With the loss, the Cowboys remain winless against Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.

Disgusting display but it’s an indication of the direction society is heading due to the increasing degradation of civility.

Who watches NFL now?

Kneeling, Trans-Cheerleaders, Woke politics, Trashy halftime shows, etc

Apparently people go to throw trash at kneeling, trans-cheerleaders, woke politics, and trashy halftime shows.

It's one thing to boycott them, it's another to send a clear message. Ha Ha

Good riddance to the entirety of the NFL. Being the American-hating shills that they are, let them go play in Communist countries.

On a relate note, I see more advertisements and notifications about college football than I've ever seen in my life. I'm mostly insulated so if I'm seeing it, it's a bad sign for the NFL.

Receivers couldn’t catch....................

This is where I really miss the late Coach McKay...

" What do you think of your team’s execution, coach?"

"I'm in favor of it."

“Maybe that’s all changed since you stopped watching.”

Maybe you couldn’t give up your addiction?

No wonder we keep getting rolled. The opiate of the masses still works.

Prescott and the umpire bumped into each other as George tried to set the ball. Prescott said the Cowboys practice handing the ball to Biadasz.

“We’ve practiced it,” Prescott said. “You hand it to the center. The umpire, all he has to do is usually come in and tap the ball. Yeah, I mean, don’t necessarily know exactly why the hit happened, I guess. I knew he was going to come in and touch the ball. You can say, yeah, he needs to be closer to the ball or whatever. In hindsight, just tough. Yeah, tough to accept.”

Prescott spiked the ball, and, after a brief delay, Kemp announced the game was over.

“I’d like to get a play off, knowing everything that happened, thinking that I spiked the ball in time,” Prescott said. “That or not, yeah, I mean with the official getting in the way of the play as well. Tough. Tough. Just tough.”

Two paper cups??? Is that the best they can do?

They need to talk to Tennessee Volunteer fans about the right things to throw on the field...

“Sounds like a typical Dan Mullen-coached quarterback.”

TB coach when asked whether their would be a conflict in style and personalities bringing in Brady:

No conflict. I’ll just let Brady coach.

Grown men who get emotional and angry because other men playing a game for a team representing their home town aren’t “winning” for them are a sad and pathetic lot.

They had to change the name in Washington, it was too racist, so they went with D.C. redskins.

After we saw Anthony Richardson...aka 1st round AR totally crap the bed versus Kentucky Saturday, I would say dancing Dan is batting .1000.

Prescott is held together with ice baths, and arthroscopic surgeries.
