Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs announced Sunday that she will not debate her GOP opponent in the race to become Arizona’s next governor.
“Unfortunately, debating a conspiracy theorist like Kari Lake - whose entire campaign platform is to cause enormous chaos and make Arizona the subject of national ridicule - would only lead to constant interruptions, pointless distractions, and childish name-calling,” Nicole DeMont, the campaign manager for Hobbs, said in a statement.
“Arizonans deserve so much better than Kari Lake, and that’s why we’re confident Katie Hobbs will be elected our next governor.”
Instead, the Democratic nominee will participate in a town-hall style event in which the candidates are questioned separately, the statement said.
The Hobbs campaign was responding to the Citizens Clean Elections Commission, a state commission that monitors and organizes debates.

Hobbs is a crook and needs to be locked up.
While Hobbs can handle speeches and do a decent job....I’m skeptical of her talents in debate. A lot of people in the past forty years have gone through four to six years of college and never taken a single debate class. If you have no talent at it...you probably should never debate people on a open stage.
Well then… if interruptions and supposed conspiracy theories are Hobbs’ concerns about Lake, one would think she’d jump at the chance to expose Lake to a large television audience.
But it’s probably more based out of fear that Hobbs will get her hind end handed to her.

Four to six years of college is not meant to teach debating or critical thinking. It’s there for you to regurgitate the talking points.
So there’s no room for debate here, the Democrat talking points are the “consensus” view of the “experts” and that’s all there is.
This is laughable - because if they actually believed Lake was going to behave this childish and juvenile, they would be wanting to debate her every single day.

The rodents are screwed with Hobbs. The main issue Lake is using is voter fraud and Hobbs is the chief criminal behind Democrat/communist voter fraud.
