Poor babies. But I suspect they did behave after that experience.

What girls encountered once they got there, according to 22 women who spent time at the ranch as teens from 2007 to 2020, was a nightmare of hard labor
Hard labor? For today's teens? The horror.
To: Morgana
Are they trying to imply that women and men aren’t equal? Sounds like this place had it figured out.

Some context would be important.
I personally understand the concept of making things hard for these youngsters. The girls would no doubt badmouth the concept.

and this is bad why?

Would boys of the same age been able to do the work? Equal pay for equal work.

It’s possible they were sent to a place with working conditions that were akin to a concentration camp.

What pay? Their parents paid these people to take the girls to be ranch hands. It’s the perfect scam, and it’s been done before. Just say you are running a ranch for troubled teen and parents send their kids sight unseen. No medical, no shrinks, kids are worse when they leave than when they came.
Lawyers are having a field day with these things.

It’s possible they were sent to a place with working conditions that were akin to a concentration camp. The answer to that would be cameras. If kids misbehaved, they would be sent home and parents will have to pick them up.

I saw this. Wealthy moms on the Left, ran the fathers off but got $$$$. Shipped their kids off.

Oh I know kids who have already won settlements from these type of schools.
Then again I blame the parents for not checking up on the kids after sending them there.

You said the keywords:
” ran the fathers off “
That is why a lot of these kids are there and no parent is watching out for them.

How about butchering animals? Beheading a few chickens would put their lives in perspective.
