It’s amazing...
Yes, The Patriot Act was put together with no thought about how it was in conflict with our Constitution.
It was a “knee jerk reaction” to the attack on the World Trade Center.
This could have been part of a plan. I can’t put that past the realm of possibility. There are evil forces in the world that mean to destroy the world’s way of life. Population control, food control, energy control, basic life controlled by “Globalists,” with only their power over us in mind.
“Davos” and its participants must be stopped or we will be doomed to be a robotic human race.
Love it.
That’s it Allegra.
:(
True Confessions, Fatima: I don’t know how to post links quite yet. True, I have been on FR for many years but all I ever really wished to do here is to post and read commentary.
I remember someone saying very early on the thread that it was probably Al-Qaeda. They were spot on with that one.
Do you know the name of the song?
Me too..
So many of the regulars here at FR from that day are gone. So many have passed away since then and I guess some just left the site to go to other places to espouse their wisdom. It was a rough day. I remember reaching out to a few FR regulars and us actually talking and crying by phone.
I had only been at my office for about an hour or so when the first plane hit. I was soon headed home and just took the remainder of the day off. Who could concentrate on anything when we did not know what was to happen next or how many planes were soon to be crashing into what or where?
The old 9/11 FR threads have a play-by-play of that day that should be saved for posterity. So much information was flowing, some true and some not, that it was hard to keep up.
Thank you for this.
My mother died this morning. Do not feel too sorry for me. This has been expected for the last 5 years.
Our family is sad but relieved.
I lost 2 friends from school on 9/11, we went to both the same grammar school (grades 1-8,) and then to the same high school. I miss them both.
Watching this video has brought to the forefront my beliefs as to why I am an American and why I feel so strongly for the values that founded our country.
Waiting for people to respond who we knew lived or worked there. Some went to Heaven that day.
Hugs to you. May she RIP.
((((Hugs))))Breaks your heart.
Amen

Oh my! My sympathies. I’m right there with you. My mother passed away last Sunday morning. She lasted a year longer than the usual time for someone diagnosed with her condition.
Although expected, it is still hard. However, we complied with her wishes and she passed away at home with a couple of her children with her. We had a rotation where one (and over the past couple of weeks, two) of her children were with her at all times. She went peacefully in her sleep at home which is how she wanted to go.
I was on duty with another sister that night. I can truthfully say it was the hardest thing I had to do in saying “good-bye” to her. But, she is with the Lord now and no longer in pain. I am blessed in having strong support from my siblings. I don’t know what I would have done over the past few months without them.
I am so sorry.
I am sending up prayers for you both.
Koyannisqatsi, is the name of that tune, Directed by Phillip Glass. The spelling might be off. It’s a long composition, but after the first 4 to 10 minutes, you will know if it is for you.
Another piece on that same album is very soothing and beautiful, it is simply named ‘Vessels’. The color cobalt blue comes to mind when I hear it. a kaliedescope of deep and vibrant blues.
Thank you so much. It’s hard to get used to not calling my Mom each day just to see how her day is going. And, all that advice she gave so freely. She was a lot better than a search engine when it came to information as to how to do things. Plants, cooking, cleaning, child-rearing. Mom had all the answers. LOL!
“We had no idea...”
Oh - we had an idea. It was the focus of many threads back in the day.
