Andrew Tate, the professional fighter-turned media personality who earned the ire and admiration of millions with his viral rants about male dominance, female submission and wealth, is everywhere these days.
It doesn't matter that the so-called "alpha-male" podcaster, who openly advocates violence against women, has been banned from every major social media platform, or that he was kicked off the TV show "Big Brother" for violent and hateful behavior and had his house raided as part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation (he told Fox News' Tucker Carlson he was the victim of a swatting attempt). His ideas have already taken root in the minds of countless young men who see him as a role model of masculinity. Before it was taken down, his TikTok account racked up about 11.6 billion views. Social media spaces dedicated to teaching have featured accounts of students as young as middle schoolers parroting his diatribes and harassing female classmates. Rashes of sexual harassment in schools in the UK and Australia have also been blamed on Tate's influence.
He's not the only one, either. So-called male supremacist views have surged on TikTok and podcasting platforms, with personalities ranting about the rights of "high value" or "hypermasculine" men -- those that they define as wealthy, confident, influential, sexually dominant and entitled to subservience from women.

“Misogynist: a man who hates women as much as women hate one another.” - H.L. Mencken
Can’t risk allowing young men to make up their own minds, of course.
I can just feel the angst in the headline.
Defusing messages they don’t like is what CNN does.
Complex tasks are not.
lol
These days a man who doesn’t parrot misandry Woke views will be said to be a woman hater.
Even being opposed to the child sacrifice (abortion) probably earns that slander.
A lot of FReepers hate Andrew Tate. But they are missing the big picture. His message is spot on. And he is a big supporter of Donald Trump. His fighting style is a lot like Steve Bannon.
I don’t follow Andrew Tate but I do watch several of these youtubers: Taylor the Fiend, JHall, Arako and Redmind. They showcase women’s Tiktoks where they spew hate about how men are worthless and how these women are all 10s and deserving of a man’s resources, no matter that they have nothing to offer men other than sex. The women are delusional and the men reject these types. They do not espouse violence or hatred towards women. The men are basically warning others to keep calm and not engage in angry displays and to dump women who cheat or who are too engaged in social media. I think they offer a valuable service to young men.
“Misogynist” is a four syllable word airheaded college coeds like to uses that makes them think they know something.
Yep. It's a jungle. Social media is poisonous. It inflates every woman's self-worth (especially those who are using social media) into thinking that they are a 10. Before social media, that appeared not to be an issue.
Can’t have men rejecting the message that women are perfect and always a victim. Most women these days aren’t worth a cup of warm spit. They are so entitled. The younger ones are the worst only followed by women who divorced their husbands for no good reason and finding that the dating world and dating apps are dystopian. Even if they are beautiful and in their 40s they cannot find a man who fits the profile they are seeking or if they do find a 9 or 10 man it’s usually just for sex and then she gets dumped. I wouldn’t want to be in these women’s shoes for any amount of money.
More misandrists on SM.
Bkmk
I’ve never heard of Andrew Tate but I think you’ve completely missed my point.
I was responding to the headline, authored by AJ Willingham of CNN I presume, and the notion that they had a job to do by “defusing” Andrew Tate’s “message.”
Yep. Good luck with that. There's a reason on why Andrew Tate's ideas are popular right now. And there's nothing CNN can do about that. Nice try on them trying to do this sort of "public service".
Yep. Older ladies are usually excellent cooks. Good luck on trying to find anyone under 40 who can cook. 😉
AJ Willingham is what you think she is - another white, racist chick who hates the color of her skin. IOW, ignore everything this 50-IQ, psychopath writes.
As the feminists say, “May you have the confidence of a mediocre man.”
Andrew Tate is not conservative and not my idea of a masculine man. He’s a bully who has a compound in Romania because he says the police there are crooked and can be paid off. He’s a dirtbag.
