Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich blames decades of racism for the water crises in Jackson, Mississippi; Flint, Michigan; and West Baltimore, Maryland. I wonder, what do the leaders of those three cities all have in common?
Reich declared that the “legacy of segregation” and “decades and decades of racism and neglect” have led to water crises in all three cities. Racism, the nameless, faceless specter that simply looms over the city, is responsible for all of these troubles, according to Reich. There is simply nothing that can be done, apparently.

I thought the system in Jackson was fairly new.
The problem with his suggestion....you can go to various cities in Mississippi (Gulfport, Biloxi...for example) and find that they run competent and professional water/waste services. So you ask why....if racism is rampant in Jackson....why not in Gulfport or Biloxi?
Some people suggest from the 1950s on...the city management of Jackson was corrupted.

Democrat party hacks spend money on social justice programs rather than infrastructure maintenance. Then they are shocked because the magic system that supplies clean water to the tap doesn't last forever without maintenance. Yet somehow it's racism (and by innuendo it's the Republicans).
The city has been poorly run by black people for decades.
It’s not racism, it’s incompetence of the mayor and city council to properly address this problem. If white flight took place because of crime, it’s not whiteys faculty. People want to be safe and if Jackson’s government can’t co it, they will move and find a place to prosper.
This midget doesn’t have the height of intellect to be able to make this argument.
