Usually a provocative claim like this can be readily backed up with facts and figures from multiple sources, but I cant find a single one. Since this is coming from the "commander in chief" and broadcast to the entire country, who is it that is going to step up and finally ask "where is the substance to this "political violence" claim" and also the claim that "MAGA Republicans threaten the very soul of the United States?"
It cant just be simple 'projection'...not something this serious. Who tf is going to just listen to this stuff without saying "now wait a damm minute...." Not me.
Would you please define a ‘neo-Confederate’ and have you ever met one?
The left has been demonizing the right for decades, accusing us of their sins. It is called “confession by projection” in some circles. James Lindsay calls it “the iron law of woke projection”.
I don’t know if they are deliberately lying or if they assume that everyone is just like them.
You’re right not to buy it. But their base buys it because they are incapable of individual thought or observation. They are lemmings who believe whatever they are told by the media. . .never mind their lying eyes.
It’s like “white supremacists”. Sure, they exist, but the DOJ and lapdog media take a few isolated cases and apply it to a large group that they wish to suppress. If they can’t find enough examples, they will create them.
If you are in a group they support, even the most violent acts are suddenly “legitimate protest”. It’s not really complicated. Are you really confused by this?
You sir are truly a fool and a yankee, I expect. Nothing in the Constitution forbade secession and the north conducted nothing more than a war of colonial conquest against the South and yes R E Lee is a far greater hero than any Yankee ever was. Viewing the current US I do confess that I believe it would have been far better had three or four or more nations had evolved to fill most of North America north of the Rio Grande. The US today is the definition of aggressive abroad and tyrannical at home. By the way, if you don’t like Alabama why don’t you move to some yankee utopia, Chicago or Cleveland perhaps?
how can they lie so blatantly?
a co-conspirator LEFTIST media
cut your cable tv
kneecap the LEFTIST media
The dems project onto their opponets their own behavior. That is what this is.
Well, if the Germans hadn't bombed Hiroshima, WWII might never have started!

Regards,
And is that a factually untrue statement? Are you able to refute it? Doesn't matter what side he fought on; perhaps he was, indeed, the greatest general!
Regards,
Are you high? The ONLY reason that there was a civil war was because the slave states refused to recognize blacks as human beings. They wanted their free labor and if subjugating a human soul to degradation and calling them ‘property’ instead of free humans then thats what they were going to do. Remember...it was Democrats that were advocating slavery then. Relax man. No one is attacking you. You shouldnt feel so threatened. I like Alabama and I like my guns. And I hate BLM. And so does every black person I know.
How dare you be rational and deal in facts
Ever heard of a guy named “Rittenhouse”? Taking an extinguisher to an ANTIFA dumpster fire, that’s “political violence”.
Defending yourself from the murderous raping mob, outside Lot’s house, with anything less than an F15 is political genocide.
And if you can watch all the footqge of what went down in Kenosha, and not see Rittenhouse as a racist, sexist, homophobic: “Hitler Youth”, you must hate “democracy”.
and not embracing every mandate, especially the sacrement of vaccination, that’s extreme “politcal violence” too.
Memaw Poison Ivey, Governor of our deep crimson red state of Alabama says we’re livin a “terrible lifestyle... cuasin all the infections, hospitalizations and deaths... and it’s time to blame 75% of her base for it all.”, with trembling lip and jowels, cause Debbie Birx told her to...
come and see the violence inherent in the system.
From my perspective, it isn’t just the, “insurrection” that the media is peddling as a cataclysmic event, but our association with law and order (”violence against black and brown bodies”), schools being used for learning (”denying the Human rights of trans-identifying kids”), anti-Communist beliefs (-cue, “The Greater Good cult” from Hot Fuzz-) and the overall support of Trump, the supposed terrorist-in-Chief.
There is also this notion of speech, which I think is often overlooked. The Left has taken on the role of societal gatekeepers, and have deemed their opinions as true and correct facts, not merely as opinion. Therefore, with their belief that words are violence (except when it comes from them), any dissent is automatically considered violent by nature. It seems to be a universal Leftist belief.
Remember this Jerry. It’s not a lie if you believe it.
Don’t give this thing in any ink. Only thing we have to concentrate on is getting Biden impeached and the midterm. They’re trying to cull us from the republican herd and it can work.
know.your.why: I doubt it. Compared to General Washington, General Napoleon Bonaparte, Genghis Khan. Nah...Lee was a great military leader but he paled in comparison to other military strategists who were brilliant standouts that conquered nations.
You see: Here we are, calmly and respectfully discussing Lee's generalship - without having to resort to "name-calling" (i.e., using epithets such as "Neo-Confederate"). It's called "having a difference of opinion" and "engaging in polite discourse."
You originally wrote:
Neo-Confederates are groups and individuals who portray the Confederate States of America and its actions during the American Civil War in a positive light. Alabama is full of em. Guy I worked with calls General Robert E. Lee the greatest general that ever lived.
Yours was an apparent attempt to paint anyone who speaks favorably of Southern military tactics as a "Neo-Confederate." At least, that is the implication.
By that same defective logic, one could call anyone who marvelled at the engineering of the Me 262 or the battlefield accomplishments of, say, Rommel a "neo-Nazi."
Regards,
Refreshingly lucid analysis! Bravo!

There is no “defending against” abusive, fictitious charges of criminality.
That’s why such charges are so frustrating to those at whom the accusers have so unjustly pointed the finger of blame.
Can you see why this is a menacingly effective tactic of propaganda and political demonization/destruction?
One proviso, though: The apparatus of criminal investigation, prosecution, the courts, the legislature, the chief executive, and the major media all have to be in the hands of the accusers in order to allow this ruse to be pulled off efficiently and effectively (check, check, check, check, check, check!).
