Would you please define a ‘neo-Confederate’ and have you ever met one?

Neo-Confederates are groups and individuals who portray the Confederate States of America and its actions during the American Civil War in a positive light. Alabama is full of em. Guy I worked with calls General Robert E. Lee the greatest general that ever lived. Here in Bama, Martin Luther King day is a bit different...its called Robert E. Lee day.

You sir are truly a fool and a yankee, I expect. Nothing in the Constitution forbade secession and the north conducted nothing more than a war of colonial conquest against the South and yes R E Lee is a far greater hero than any Yankee ever was. Viewing the current US I do confess that I believe it would have been far better had three or four or more nations had evolved to fill most of North America north of the Rio Grande. The US today is the definition of aggressive abroad and tyrannical at home. By the way, if you don’t like Alabama why don’t you move to some yankee utopia, Chicago or Cleveland perhaps?

Guy I worked with calls General Robert E. Lee the greatest general that ever lived.

And is that a factually untrue statement? Are you able to refute it? Doesn't matter what side he fought on; perhaps he was, indeed, the greatest general!

Regards,
