A leading Catholic scholar claimed that alleged alien abductions stories have parallels with people who say they have encountered demons.
Theologian Dr Paul Thigpen went on to add that aliens are in fact more than likely " demons ".
He also said that the US government know more than they publicly state in relation to UAPs ('Unexplained Aerial Phenomena' - a US military term for UFOs ).
Dr Thigpen told the National Catholic Register: “With UAP we may actually be dealing with extraordinary phenomena of various origins despite similar characteristics.
“Extra-terrestrial hypothesis – the notion that we are encountering non-human intelligences from locations in this universe beyond Earth - best accounts for many UAP.
“The diabolical hypothesis – that they are demons – best accounts for some UAP reports, especially some of the so-called alien abductions’ that demonstrate clear parallels with what the Church knows as demonic encounters.”
These comments come after the US government last year reported on 144 UFO sightings by military pilots since 2004, with only one being explained away as a balloon and the rest "largely inconclusive".

Nolan is good, but I am most impressed by Jim Semivan—because he is an experiencer who has excellent analytical skills because of his CIA training.

I think Jesus meant by that statement that only God is "good" in terms of holiness...not in everything the adjective "good" might be applied to.
When I say that Archbishop Vigano is a good Catholic, I don't mean he is a sinless person...just that he is a good Catholic (as opposed to the Pope, who isn't).
Jim Semivan is one of my absolute favorites also. I like Nolan because he brings a scientific perspective...but Semivan brings, as you say, a much wider perspective in being a former CIA officer AND an experiencer.

We now know of the 1945 “Trinity” case where the debris was not kept by any military or intelligence agency—the Atomic Energy Commission hid it away for safe-keeping.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a dozen different agencies had their own “souvenirs” and hid it from other agencies.
Btw—there was a former Russian astronaut who claimed the Russians had five crashed “alien” craft in their custody as well.

Consider, if you will, that Angels physically exist in some sapcetime frame which we cannot sense as we are presently configured. The demonic being exists in a spacetime frame which is also not sensed by us. HOWEVER, as the Bible clearly illustrates there are ways the unseen can been seen on occasion.
There is a phrase one of the characters in opne of my little novels uttered: God does miracles, angels use technology ... and there are good angels and bad angels.
The witnessed craft are technology. Is their strangeness due to ability to move from one spacetime frame into a lesser spacetime frame then back again? That seems to be the case. Angels use technology and their technology allows them to move from one spcetime frame to another, as illustrated for us with passages from the Word of God.
Even Whitley Strieber, who has turned out to be a friend of the "visitors" (sounds like Stockholm Syndrome) admits that when he first encountered them he was sure they were demons AND he admits that he was gang raped by them with their anal probes.
That doesn't sound angelic.
Semivan had some amazing comments in different podcasts—he has thought very deeply on this subject.
One simple quote summarizes his concerns best:

Assigning motives to this stuff is the hardest challenge of all—imho it is the last thing you attempt to do after you figure out everything else.
It is the height of homo sapien arrogance to think we have a right to judge their motives when we can’t even begin to understand them.
If Satan can appear as an angel of light to deceive people, then nothing else is out of the realm of possibility.

I want to give folks an example of why we should not pre-judge motives without all the facts.
One of the (many) hypotheses about this stuff is that we are dealing with artificial intelligence created by a long extinct super high tech race that used to live here or traveled here.
The AI is on auto-pilot which may include programming errors (perhaps programming that slowly degraded after millions of years).
To “judge” the morality of the AI is absurd.
To “judge” the morality of the long dead race is deeply irrelevant.
He was making a point about the Father and Himself.
As far as I know, it is not a sin to say "that was a good hamburger I had for lunch...or so and so is a good guitar player...or so and so is a good Catholic."
On another issue, I completely agree that humans don't have a clue. But that includes you and me.

Keel was very cool—generated lots of ideas of what could be going on—may have included some variation of that one.
Other ideas he thought about:
—Living planet—with its own “control system” (also a Vallee idea)
—Interdimensional stuff
—Ancient advanced races still around but camouflaged

Applying human moral standards to any of this stuff is just bizarre imho—it is like walking up to anthills and saying “This one is angelic because it fertilizes the soil” and then “That one is demonic because it undermines the foundation of my house.”
