Average 7.59 a gallon for 100 low lead avgas across the country. Small plane aviation will soon fade at these prices.

Even though gas is going down right now, every fuels person knows it’s the period when refineries change over to producing heating oil. Everyone who uses heating oil is in for a big surprise as both heating oil and motor gas prices will go up. Also, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics website, “From June 2021 to June 2022, prices for import natural gas increased 165.5 percent, the largest over-the-year advance since March 2003.”
Even with ‘Globull Warming’ it will be a long cold winter.

I think we would have been better off having elections in may. We were in good shape. Now? We’ll be lucky and hopefully gracious to get the house.

Well when you blame him for the increase, what do you expect. Of course they will credit Biden for the decrease.

Demand for gasoline is somewhat elastic. In response to high prices people change their behavior (fewer shopping trips, etc).

Harbinger of Doom heralding the coming recession.

Diesel prices haven’t come down and that’s what farmers use to grow food.

It’s going to get ugly after the election.

“ It’s not due to oil prices”

Excuse me? It’s all about oil prices!

WTI is down to 81.74 barrel as we speak

It was over $121 in early June

We’ve been using up our oil from the strategic reserves. But that we’re in a recession is the probably the biggest factor.

I find a certain irony in the hope that the current economic disaster will be solved when Jesus Christ returns, seeing as how one of His more famous commandments is to give all you have to the poor.

And I’m a believer too, just waiting to see how that blends with fiscal responsibility and free speech which I assume to be other reasonable expectations. I suppose we’ll all have so much that giving a lot to the poor won’t be a problem.

Midterms.

The democrats want credit for it so people will vote for them, not remembering that it was the dems who caused them to go up so high and so fast in the first place.
