Latest version of Vivaldi (WinPC) is at Chrome/104.0.5112.115. Needs to be at Chrome/105.0.5195.10 or later for the patch.

From the article:
“
1. Open your Play Store app. In the top right corner, tap your profile icon.
“
What if there’s no profile icon?

“Brave is up to date Version 1.43.89 Chromium: 105.0.5195.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)”
Hope that works.

Hope that works. Not really. I've tried Brave on three separate occasions and found it frustrating (lack of customization comes to mind). Vivaldi is my backup browser. Main one is still Firefox (user since Firefox v0.8). I really want to go with Vivaldi full-time, but this Chrome cr@p keeps popping up.

I changed to Brave > 3 years ago - far superior & faster than Chrome.

For PCs, click on the more button (three vertical dots), choose “Help” > “About Google Chrome”. If there is an update, it will start updating immediately, and you will then be prompted to close your browser and reopen to finish the update.

The article says that Microsoft Edge (which is Chrome based) is also affected by this. When I click on the three dots, then help, "About Microsoft Edge" appears. I'm guessing I use the same process (click on that, and if an update is available it will start it up). Sound right?

Don't use it much but I have it for occasions when other browsers don't work with a web site.
Windows Chrome updated immediately when I launched the app.
My Linux Mint machine had an update notice in Update Manager for Chromium. The updated Linux Mint Chromium is Version 105.0.5195.102-linuxmint1+una
