No details available from me...didn't know him personally...just saw his obit posted on "TOS"...other FReepers probably had a lot more interaction with him, seemed like a genuine/nice guy...RIP Quix:

He got himself banned by being too outspoken. I was on his email list after he was banned. He lurked and even had rejoined FR under a retread name that I didn't know. He commented very little under that new name (otherwise, we would have recognized him).
I don't think he would mind me sharing the above.
He was a really nice guy, but was very serious about his theories re: the demonic nature of so-called aliens and UFO's. I know he wouldn't mind me sharing that.
I considered him a good FR friend for many, many years.
He's happy beyond belief now.;-)

I remember him as a generally nice man with an obsession on UFO and demon posts. He also sometimes seemed to yell things, with upper caps and various fonts used.
He had some strange thoughts, but was always well-intensioned.
May he be with God and may we all be privileged to meet believers in Heaven.

you are right, that is a wonderful obituary.
I almost wonder if quix wrote that himself. i never, ever realized just how well-traveled he was. I don’t recall him ever saying he lived in the far east (though I may have just not read those threads). Maybe I did know and have forgotten.
